Your Sacral Chakra energy is your powerful creativity.

 

Have you ever felt ridged? Unattractive? Unplayful? That’s your sacral energy in need of replenishment and attention.

 

In this quick guide, you’ll learn how to nourish your sacral energy to begin to self-heal. Discover emotionally and physically (organs and body parts) where pain shows up when your second Chakra is blocked.

 

We come in contact every day with traumas big and small that block energy from flowing freely in the body.

 

I’ve listed tips on activities, incense, teas, foods, and other ideas on how to continue clearing your blocked Sacral Chakra.

The Sacral Chakra is below your navel and above your hip bones, and is physically linked to your reproductive organs, low back, and lower intestines. The hips and sacrum are affected too.

 

In Sanskrit, it’s called Svadhisthana, the second energy center. 

 

When underactive it shows up as:

  • Lazy/sluggish
  • Negative 
  • Boundary issues

 

When overactive it shows up as: 

  • Overly emotional
  • Creativity blocks
  • Attached to people or relationship

 

 

Healing Your Sacral Chakra Through the 5 Senses

Taste:

  • Tea - Jasmine

     

  • Food - Citrus based fruits


Touch:

  • Emotional Element - Water

     

  • Activities
    • Get near water: walk near it, swim in it, or take a bath
    • Dance, move those hips!
    • Express creativity: Paint, sing, write, play
    • Sacred Sex: Enjoy gourmet sex with self or partner


Smell:
 

  • Insense
    • Orange
    • Ylang-Ylang


Sound:

  • Anything you want to get up and move to!


Sight:

  • Crystals
    • Citrine
    • Tangarine Quartz

  • Color
    • Orange

Mantras:

  • It's safe to play

Journal Prompt:

  • What lessons do I keep repeating in my life?
  • What goals/desires do I have yet to pursue?
  • What brings me joy? What do I enjoy creating?

 

Sacred Ritual:

Sacred Movement & Discharge - Create a playlist of around 3 songs. Put on something comfortable that also makes you feel attractive, sexy, beautiful. Find a space to be alone and open enough to move and dance in. Put headphones in if you can't turn your music up to a dancing level, and allow the music to inspire you. Any movement is good! It doesn't have to make sense, look good, it just has to feel good. 

 

Add all senses to this sacred ritual: Brew Jasmine tea to sip on, listen to your favorite music that inspires movement, light ylang-ylang incense, light orange candles around the room (safely).

 

15 minutes can be truly transformational if you make time and space for yourself. This is creating magic in your daily mundane.
