I’m Azahar, and while I had my first panic attack at 28, I’ve suffered from overwhelming thoughts, a tight chest, and feelings of anxiety a very long time before that.
As a kid I’d worry a lot about random things. I realized if I kept my mind busy enough, I didn’t have time to think.
By university I was an expert at full time work, extra classes to graduate a year early, Student Body President, a full social life, and partner. No space for anything.
Yoga had always been a tool I used to help relax and calm my brain, but I didn't use a lot of meditation.
My first experience with guided meditation, it was like all the cells in my body relaxed, fully. I felt like I was floating, and I noticed it helped me to slow and rewind the cycle before it started.
When I don't meditate, panic has a space to cling to in my chest. While I know this isn’t a magic pill, with meditation, I feel better. Less anxious. No attacks. Restful sleep.
After a decade of teaching yoga + meditation, and a lifetime of anxiousness, I've developed a "toolkit" of peace.

Over the past decade teaching yoga and meditation, holistic studies from reiki to herbalism, I've developed tools to move away from moments of panic, or old non-helpful thought spirals.
These toolkits are meant to serve you where you are today, and to also hold techniques that can serve you in the future when you're ready.
These tools have been around for centuries, but sceince is just now beginning to understand the huge power these resources have on our mind, body, and spirit.
